Recognizing the diverse learning needs of our pupils, SK Gual To'Deh has proactively implemented a structured Remedial Classroom Programme to enhance English language proficiency among selected students. This targeted initiative focuses on Year 4 Arif and Year 4 Bestari, aligning with the school’s goal of providing inclusive and equitable education.
Students are systematically grouped into three proficiency levels—Pre-A1, Low A1, and Mid A1—based on detailed diagnostic assessments. These groupings enable teachers to design and deliver differentiated instruction tailored to individual learning needs.
The programme adopts a personalised and strategic intervention model, combining scaffolded learning materials, hands-on activities, and regular progress monitoring. By addressing specific learning gaps, it strengthens pupils' foundational skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
Ultimately, this remedial approach aims not only to improve academic performance, but also to build learners’ confidence and readiness as they advance through the CEFR-aligned curriculum. SK Gual To'Deh remains committed to ensuring that no learner is left behind in their journey to mastering the English language.
"Every child learns differently—our remedial programme ensures no one is left behind.
