A Heartwarming Hari Raya 2025

LUBOK JONG - As the joyous season of Hari Raya approaches, I feel excited that this year, my house will be filled with the warmth and laughter of family. It’s a special time of year when relatives come together, old and young, to celebrate the bonds we share. This year’s Hari Raya promises to be one to remember, as many of my siblings and relatives will be visiting our home to join in the festivities.

The beauty of Hari Raya lies not only in the new clothes we wear or the delicious food we prepare, but in the deep sense of connection and love that fills the air. With relatives from near and far coming together, my home will transform into a haven of memories, where we can catch up, laugh, and reminisce about the good old days.

There’s something magical about having all generations of the family under one roof, from the youngest children excitedly running around to the elders who share their wisdom and stories of the past. It's these moments of togetherness that make Hari Raya so special. The kitchen will be alive with the ketupat, the smell of tapai, and the ever-present aroma of freshly baked kuih, all of which signal that this is truly a time for celebration.

As we gather around the dining table, the act of sharing a meal becomes more than just eating. It’s about reliving the traditions passed down through generations, teaching the younger ones the significance of the holiday, and fostering a spirit of gratitude. It’s a time to reflect on the blessings we’ve received, to forgive past grievances, and to start anew with hearts full of hope and joy.

This Hari Raya, I look forward to the laughter of the children as they engage in their playful antics, the sounds of conversation filling every corner of the house, and the endless photo-taking sessions that will surely capture the essence of this beautiful celebration. Most of all, I cherish the sense of unity that comes from being surrounded by family, knowing that no matter where life takes us, we always have each other to rely on.

To my dear readers, I hope this Hari Raya brings you closer to your loved ones, and that you too can experience the joy, love, and warmth that come with family gatherings. May this festive season fill your hearts with peace and happiness. Selamat Hari Raya 2025!

Damia Maisara: A Journey of Confidence in Public Speaking

ENGLISH CENTER - Damia Maisara Bt Hasmizan is an inspiring example of perseverance and growth. At just 11 years old, she has been selected to perform in the 5th Highly Immersive Programme (HIP) 2025 public speaking event—a remarkable achievement. However, her journey to this stage has not been an easy one. Initially, she was shy and lacked confidence in speaking English. Standing before an audience and delivering a speech in a language not her mother tongue was daunting for her.

Her journey  video

Despite her initial hesitation, Damia never gave up. With continuous encouragement and guidance, she gradually embraced the challenge. I made sure to prepare a speech text that suited her CEFR level, ensuring that it was both challenging and achievable. As we embarked on our first training session this week, she showed remarkable determination to improve. Her willingness to step out of her comfort zone and practice diligently reflects her growing confidence.

Her journey is now being documented on my YouTube channel, where she can track her progress and gain further motivation. This is just the beginning for Damia. Her spirit and dedication to public speaking will benefit her in this event and serve as a foundation for her future success. With each session, she proves that confidence can be built and skills can be sharpened through persistence and the proper support. I am proud of her progress and excited to see her shine on the HIP stage!

The 5th HIP 2025, push the limit

LUBOK JONG - The 5th Highly Immersive Programme (HIP) 2025 at SK Gual To'Deh: Enhancing English Proficiency Through Performance-Based Learning

Introduction

The Highly Immersive Programme (HIP) is an initiative under the Malaysian Education Blueprint 2013-2025, designed to promote a culture of English language usage among students through fun and engaging activities. At SK Gual To'Deh, HIP has been an annual event since its inception, and the upcoming 5th HIP 2025 is set to be a grand occasion. Scheduled from July 6 to 10, the event will be inaugurated by the district officer, marking a significant milestone in the school's commitment to English language learning.

The event aims to enhance students' competency and confidence in using English through various performance-based activities, including interview sessions, public speaking, action songs, and choral speaking. This year, the English Panel at SK Gual To'Deh has embarked on a challenging yet rewarding task of training six classes from Year 1 to Year 6 to participate in these performances. Given the diverse language proficiency levels of the students, meticulous planning and strategic execution are required to ensure a successful event.

Objectives of The 5th HIP 2025

The primary objectives of this year’s HIP are:

  1. To enhance students’ English communication skills through interactive and engaging performances.

  2. To build students’ confidence in using English in front of an audience.

  3. To promote collaborative learning among students of different age groups.

  4. To create an immersive English language environment within the school.

  5. To encourage creativity and critical thinking through performance-based learning.

Selection and Training of Participants

To ensure the success of the performances, the selection of students began in the second week of the new school session. The selection process focused on identifying students who demonstrated potential in speaking and performing, as well as those willing to take on the challenge of public presentations.

Training Strategies

  1. Interview Sessions:

    • Selected students were trained to conduct and participate in mock interviews.

    • The training sessions included role-playing activities where students took on the roles of interviewers and interviewees.

    • Emphasis was placed on proper pronunciation, fluency, and confidence.

    • Teachers provided constructive feedback to help students improve their responses.

  2. Public Speaking:

    • Students were coached on speech delivery, posture, and eye contact.

    • Speech writing workshops were conducted to help students structure their speeches effectively.

    • Regular practice sessions were held, with students delivering speeches on various topics.

    • Peer evaluation and teacher guidance were integrated to refine their speaking skills.

  3. Action Song:

    • Younger students, especially those in Year 1 and Year 2, were selected for the action song performance.

    • The training included teaching lyrics, movements, and expressions to synchronize with the song’s theme.

    • Fun and interactive methods such as storytelling and visual cues were used to help students memorize the lyrics.

    • Rehearsals were conducted to ensure smooth coordination among students.

  4. Choral Speaking:

    • This category involved a group performance focusing on articulation, intonation, and rhythm.

    • The training sessions emphasized teamwork, voice projection, and synchronized movements.

    • Scripts were carefully crafted to ensure clarity and engagement.

    • Video recordings of previous successful performances were used as references to motivate students.

Challenges and Solutions

Training six different classes with varying levels of English proficiency posed significant challenges. Some of the key challenges and their respective solutions included:

  1. Language Barrier:

    • Some students had limited exposure to English outside of the classroom.

    • Solution: Implementing a bilingual approach initially and gradually increasing English usage.

  2. Stage Fright and Lack of Confidence:

    • Many students were hesitant to speak or perform in front of an audience.

    • Solution: Conducting small group practice sessions to build confidence before transitioning to larger groups.

  3. Time Constraints:

    • Balancing the training schedule with regular academic lessons was challenging.

    • Solution: Allocating specific time slots during English periods and co-curricular activities for training.

  4. Coordination Among Different Year Levels:

    • Managing students from Year 1 to Year 6 required differentiated instruction.

    • Solution: Assigning peer mentors from higher years to assist younger students.

Expected Outcomes

The 5th HIP 2025 is expected to have a positive impact on students, teachers, and the school community. The anticipated outcomes include:

  1. Improved English Proficiency: Students will develop better speaking and listening skills through active participation.

  2. Increased Confidence: Performing on stage will boost students’ self-assurance in using English.

  3. Stronger Teacher-Student Engagement: The training sessions will foster closer relationships between teachers and students.

  4. Enhanced School Reputation: A successful HIP event will showcase SK Gual To'Deh’s commitment to English education.

  5. Lifelong Communication Skills: Students will gain valuable skills applicable to their future academic and professional endeavors.

Conclusion

The 5th HIP 2025 at SK Gual To'Deh is a monumental event that requires dedication, creativity, and perseverance. The effort to train students across different year levels for interview sessions, public speaking, action songs, and choral speaking is a significant challenge, but one that promises rewarding results. Through strategic planning, collaborative learning, and consistent practice, the event is poised to be a remarkable success. As we move closer to the event date, continuous support from teachers, parents, and the school community will be crucial in ensuring that the 5th HIP 2025 leaves a lasting impact on our students and inspires a greater appreciation for the English language.

Storytelling for the HIP 2025

Title: The Story of Pinocchio

Introduction

Assalamualaikum and hello everyone! My name is Adam Asyraf Bin Saifuddin from Year 4 Arif. Today, I am going to tell you a wonderful story about a wooden puppet who wanted to be a real boy. This is the story of Pinocchio.

Scene 1: Geppetto’s Wish

Once upon a time, there was an old man named Geppetto. He made a wooden puppet and called him Pinocchio. One night, something magical happened. Pinocchio could move and talk!

Scene 2: Pinocchio’s First Mistake

The next day, Geppetto sent Pinocchio to school. But on the way, he met a clever fox. The fox tricked Pinocchio and took his money. Pinocchio felt sad but did not want Geppetto to know.

Scene 3: Pinocchio Learns a Lesson

When Pinocchio got home, Geppetto asked about school. Pinocchio lied. He said he went to school and studied hard. But suddenly, something strange happened. His nose started to grow! At first, he did not notice. But when he tried to touch his face, his long nose poked the air. He was shocked!

Pinocchio wondered why his nose had grown. He tried to hide it, but it was too big! He turned to the side, but his nose knocked over a cup. He looked down, but his nose touched the table. No matter where he turned, his nose got in the way!

He felt ashamed. He had never seen anything like this before. Then, he realized—his nose grew because he lied! The more he lied, the longer it became. He felt terrible. He did not want Geppetto to see him like this.

Pinocchio decided to tell the truth. He admitted that he skipped school and lost his money. As soon as he spoke honestly, his nose became shorter! He felt relief in his heart.

Scene 4: A New Promise

Pinocchio learned an important lesson. He promised himself that he would always be honest. Lying only brought trouble, but telling the truth made things better. From that day, he tried to be a good and truthful boy.

Scene 5: A Real Boy

Pinocchio’s heart changed. He worked hard, helped Geppetto, and stayed honest. One day, something wonderful happened. He became a real boy! He was no longer made of wood. He could laugh, run, and hug Geppetto.

Pinocchio was happy. He knew that being honest made him a better person. And from that day on, he never lied again.

Scene 6: A New Adventure

One morning, Pinocchio woke up with excitement. He wanted to help Geppetto in his workshop. He carefully painted wooden toys and arranged them neatly on the shelves. Geppetto was proud of him.

As he walked outside, he saw a little bird with a broken wing. He remembered the times he had been selfish, but now, he wanted to help. Gently, he picked up the bird and made a small nest for it.

"I will take care of you until you can fly again," he said softly.

For the first time, Pinocchio felt the joy of kindness. He realized that being good was not just about telling the truth, but also about helping others. And so, his journey as a real boy truly began.

The End.

Public Speaking for the HIP 2025

LUBOK JONG - Introduction to Public Speaking

Assalamualaikum and good morning, everyone;
Public speaking is an important skill that helps us communicate ideas clearly and confidently. It allows us to share knowledge, express opinions, and connect with others. Today, we will practice public speaking by presenting topics engaging and informative. Remember to speak clearly, use body language, and make eye contact. Let’s get started!

Public Speaking Text 1: Dinosaurs

Assalamualaikum and good morning everyone,

Today, I am going to talk about one of the most fascinating creatures that ever lived on Earth—dinosaurs. Dinosaurs were large reptiles that lived millions of years ago, long before humans appeared. Scientists believe that dinosaurs first appeared around 230 million years ago during the Triassic period. They ruled the Earth for about 165 million years before they suddenly disappeared.

Dinosaurs came in many different shapes and sizes. Some were as small as chickens, while others were as tall as buildings. One of the most famous dinosaurs is the Tyrannosaurus rex, or T-rex. It was a fierce predator with sharp teeth and strong legs. Another well-known dinosaur is the Triceratops, which had three horns on its head and a large frill to protect itself from predators.

Dinosaurs lived in different environments, including forests, swamps, and deserts. Some dinosaurs ate plants, while others ate meat. Herbivores like the Brachiosaurus had long necks to reach leaves high up in trees. Carnivores, such as the T-rex, had strong jaws to catch and eat their prey.

One of the biggest mysteries about dinosaurs is their extinction. Scientists believe that a huge asteroid hit the Earth about 66 million years ago, causing a massive explosion. This event changed the climate and made it difficult for dinosaurs to survive. Other theories suggest that volcanoes or climate change played a role in their disappearance.

Even though dinosaurs are extinct, we can still learn about them from fossils. Fossils are the remains of ancient plants and animals that have turned into rock. Paleontologists, who are scientists that study fossils, have discovered many dinosaur bones and footprints all over the world.

Dinosaurs continue to fascinate people today. We see them in movies, books, and museums. They teach us about the history of our planet and how life has changed over time. I hope you have enjoyed learning about these incredible creatures. Thank you for listening!

Public Speaking Text 2: The International Space Station (ISS)

Assalamualaikum and good morning everyone,

Today, I want to talk about one of the greatest achievements of human technology—the International Space Station, or ISS. The ISS is a giant laboratory that orbits the Earth. It is a place where astronauts from different countries live and work together to conduct important scientific experiments in space.

The ISS was launched in 1998 and has been in space for more than 20 years. It is about the size of a football field and moves at a speed of 28,000 kilometers per hour. This means that it orbits the Earth about 16 times a day! Astronauts aboard the ISS can see the sunrise and sunset several times in 24 hours.

The ISS is a joint project between space agencies from the United States (NASA), Russia (Roscosmos), Europe (ESA), Japan (JAXA), and Canada (CSA). Scientists and astronauts from different countries work together to study how space affects the human body, how to grow food in space, and even how to prepare for future missions to Mars.

Living on the ISS is very different from living on Earth. There is no gravity in space, so astronauts float instead of walking. They sleep in small sleeping bags attached to the walls. Eating is also a challenge because food can float away! Astronauts must use special packages and straws to eat and drink.

One of the most important experiments on the ISS is studying microgravity. Microgravity is a condition where everything is weightless. Scientists study how microgravity affects the human body, plants, and even bacteria. This research helps scientists develop new medicines and improve technology for future space missions.

The ISS is also important because it helps prepare astronauts for longer missions. In the future, humans may travel to Mars or even further into space. The ISS is like a training center where astronauts learn how to live and work in space for a long time.

The ISS is an incredible example of international cooperation. Countries that may have political differences on Earth work together peacefully in space. This shows that when people work together, they can achieve amazing things.

In conclusion, the ISS is one of the greatest human achievements. It helps us learn more about space and ourselves. It is a symbol of teamwork, science, and the future of space exploration. Thank you for listening!

Public Speaking Text 3: Blue Whales

Assalamualaikum and good morning everyone,

Today, I am going to talk about the largest animal on Earth—the blue whale. Blue whales are not only the biggest animals alive today, but they are also the largest animals that have ever lived on our planet. These gentle giants can grow up to 30 meters long and weigh as much as 200 tons. That is as heavy as 33 elephants!

Blue whales are found in all the world’s oceans, but they prefer deep, cold waters. Even though they are so large, they eat some of the smallest creatures in the ocean—tiny shrimp-like animals called krill. A single blue whale can eat up to 4 tons of krill in one day. Instead of teeth, they have baleen plates in their mouths, which they use to filter food from the water.

One of the most amazing things about blue whales is their calls. They produce low-frequency sounds that can travel hundreds of kilometers underwater. Scientists believe that blue whales use these sounds to communicate with each other over long distances. These sounds are some of the loudest made by any animal on Earth.

Even though blue whales are huge, they are not dangerous to humans. They are peaceful and swim slowly through the ocean. However, they face many dangers from human activities. In the past, blue whales were hunted for their oil, which was used for lamps and other products. Today, hunting is illegal, but blue whales still face threats such as climate change, pollution, and collisions with ships.

Scientists and environmental groups are working to protect blue whales. Many countries have created marine reserves where whales can live safely. People are also trying to reduce ocean pollution and slow down ships in areas where blue whales travel.

Blue whales are an important part of the ocean ecosystem. As the largest animals on Earth, they help keep the ocean healthy by moving nutrients through the water. Learning about blue whales helps us understand how we can protect the ocean and its creatures.

In conclusion, blue whales are truly amazing animals. They are the largest creatures to ever live, they communicate in unique ways, and they play a vital role in the ocean. We must do our best to protect them so that future generations can also appreciate these gentle giants. Thank you for listening!

The Vision of the English Center at SK Gual To'Deh 2025

ENGLISH CENTER - At SK Gual To'Deh, the English Center stands as a beacon of learning and growth, dedicated to enhancing the language skills of students and fostering a deeper connection to the global community. Under the leadership of Sir Mazeri Bin Othman, the head of the English Center, the vision for the center is not just about teaching English as a subject; it's about creating an immersive, engaging, and dynamic environment where students can develop their language proficiency in a meaningful way. This vision is aligned with the school’s broader educational goals, which emphasize holistic learning, creativity, and the importance of community involvement. Introduction to the English Center's Initiatives Over the years, SK Gual To'Deh has embraced several innovative programs and activities to make English learning more engaging and accessible. These initiatives are designed to encourage students to interact with the language outside the classroom setting and to view English not as an isolated subject but as a tool for communication and cultural exchange. The programs such as the Highly Immersive Programme (HIP), school visits to Kota Bharu, the English Day celebrations, and the creation of an English Corner have all contributed to this vision. 1. The Highly Immersive Programme (HIP) The Highly Immersive Programme (HIP) has been one of the most significant initiatives at SK Gual To'Deh in enhancing English language exposure. Launched with the goal of creating an environment where English is used beyond the textbook, HIP includes activities such as English language games, songs, storytelling, and communication challenges. By integrating English into daily school activities, HIP helps students practice and improve their language skills in a natural, enjoyable way. The upcoming 5th HIP event in July 2025 promises to be another milestone, providing even more opportunities for students to immerse themselves in English. This event will feature a range of exciting language activities and contests, aiming to further enhance students' confidence and competence in using English. The HIP program’s focus on learning through fun and creativity makes it an essential part of the school’s approach to language education. 2. School Visit to Kota Bharu (October 2024) In October 2024, SK Gual To'Deh organized an educational school visit to Kota Bharu, which proved to be an enriching experience for both students and teachers. This visit allowed students to explore the cultural diversity of the city while also engaging in English language activities that were linked to the local history and landmarks. During the trip, students participated in English-language guided tours, visited cultural sites, and interacted with locals, which not only improved their language skills but also deepened their appreciation of Malaysia’s rich heritage. Such trips are a vital part of the school’s approach to learning, as they provide real-world contexts where students can practice their English in authentic settings. This experience also nurtured a sense of curiosity and global awareness among the students, giving them a broader perspective on the world around them. 3. English Day Celebrations The English Day at SK Gual To'Deh has become a much-anticipated annual event. It is a day dedicated to celebrating the English language and fostering a sense of pride in students' ability to communicate in English. The event features a variety of activities, including English drama performances, song contests, poetry recitations, spelling bees, and quiz competitions. Students and teachers alike embrace the chance to showcase their talents and improve their language skills in a fun, supportive environment. The English Day celebrations highlight the significance of language as a bridge to self-expression and communication. It is an opportunity for students to engage with English creatively, building confidence in their abilities while having fun. The event also promotes teamwork, as students collaborate to prepare and present their performances. Through these activities, the school emphasizes the importance of language learning in shaping confident, capable individuals. 4. Building the English Corner Another key initiative under the English Center’s vision is the establishment of the English Corner. This space within the school is dedicated to promoting English through interactive displays, books, posters, and language games. It is a dynamic and inviting space where students can explore English-language resources and practice their skills in a relaxed setting. The English Corner is also a place for peer learning, where older students help younger ones with their English language skills. It serves as a reminder of the importance of continuous language practice, even outside of formal lessons. With its vibrant and stimulating environment, the English Corner becomes a hub for students to immerse themselves in English in an informal, yet educational way. Looking Ahead: The School Visit to Kuala Lumpur In addition to the ongoing initiatives, the school is preparing for another exciting event in 2025—a school visit to Kuala Lumpur. This trip will offer students a chance to experience a bustling urban center and interact with a diverse range of people. Like the Kota Bharu trip, the Kuala Lumpur visit will involve a variety of activities that incorporate English, such as visiting historical landmarks, museums, and engaging in English-language activities with local communities. This experience will not only help improve language skills but also foster an understanding of Malaysia’s modern culture and its role in the global community. Significance of Education for Students and the Community The vision for the English Center at SK Gual To'Deh is grounded in the belief that language education is essential for personal and academic growth. By integrating English in various aspects of school life, students are empowered to become confident communicators. English is more than just a subject; it’s a vital skill that opens doors to global opportunities, facilitates intercultural communication, and equips students with the tools they need to succeed in a rapidly changing world. For the students at SK Gual To'Deh, the English Center provides an inclusive and supportive space where they can engage with the language in meaningful ways. This environment not only nurtures their academic abilities but also builds their self-esteem, curiosity, and social awareness. The emphasis on active participation in English-language activities encourages students to take ownership of their learning and instills a love for language that will benefit them in all aspects of life. The community also reaps the rewards of these initiatives. The involvement of parents, local businesses, and the wider public in events like English Day and school visits creates a sense of shared responsibility for education. These programs strengthen the relationship between the school and the community, ensuring that education is a collective effort. A New Chapter: The First Day at SK Gual To'Deh and the Significance of Education in 2025

SK GUAL TO'DEH - The morning of February 16, 2025 was filled with the familiar excitement and energy that comes with the start of a new school year at SK Gual To'Deh. As the sun began to rise over the lush landscape of Gual To'Deh, a small village in the state of Kelantan, Malaysia, pupils began arriving at school at 6:30 a.m. It was an early start for the students, many of whom had enjoyed nearly a month-long holiday. Despite the early hour, the school grounds buzzed with anticipation.
Teachers were equally eager, their faces reflecting the joy of returning to the classroom after the long break. Some arrived even earlier than the students, preparing for the first day. There was a certain excitement that permeated the air as the school staff greeted each other, sharing stories of their holidays and discussing their plans for the new academic session. For teachers at SK Gual To'Deh, this first day was a moment to reconnect with their students and to inspire them for the upcoming year. The school's educators understood that their role was not just to teach academics, but to shape young minds in a region that holds unique cultural and geographical significance. Their energy and dedication were palpable as they moved through the school, setting the tone for a year of hard work and growth. One by one, students trickled in, many walking in groups with their friends, talking animatedly about their holidays. There was a mixture of excitement and a touch of nervousness as the students, some of whom were returning after a long break, made their way to their new chapter. For some, this day marked the beginning of a new academic year with teachers, and possibly even new friends. Parents, who had dropped their children off, lingered for a while, exchanging greetings with teachers and school staff. The atmosphere was lively, filled with the warmth of a close-knit community. As the bell rang, signaling the start of the school day, the students hurried into the school hall for the assembly. Malaysia's education system is built upon the idea of creating a nurturing environment for all students. This includes not only academic excellence but also the holistic development of students—focusing on their physical, emotional, and social growth. The Malaysian government has made significant strides in providing free and compulsory primary education, recognizing its role in improving the lives of its citizens and the nation’s future. In schools like SK Gual To'Deh, the impact of education is even more profound. The school provides an opportunity for students to break through the barriers of geographical isolation and social challenges. The teachers at SK Gual To'Deh are well aware of this, and their commitment to nurturing the potential of each student is evident. Education is seen as a path to opportunity, and schools like SK Gual To'Deh play an essential role in shaping young minds for a brighter future. SK Gual To'Deh holds a unique position within Malaysia’s educational landscape. Located near the Malaysia-Thailand border, the school serves a population that is not only diverse in terms of ethnicity but also one that experiences the influences of both Malaysian and Thai cultures. This proximity to the border brings its own set of challenges, but it also enriches the educational experience of the students. The border region of Malaysia and Thailand has historically been one of cultural and economic exchange. It is a melting pot where different languages, traditions, and values come together. At SK Gual To'Deh, students are exposed to this diversity from a young age. They learn not only the national language, Malay, but also some Thai language and cultural practices. This bilingual and bicultural education helps students understand and appreciate the diversity of the world around them. Students at SK Gual To'Deh often face the challenge of balancing their education with the realities of life near the border. Many students come from farming families or work in small local businesses. The school serves as a pillar of stability, offering a safe and supportive environment where children can learn, grow, and prepare for the future. For some, it is the only opportunity for formal education, making it all the more significant. In SK Gual To'Deh, the partnership between the school and the local community is vital. Parents play an active role in supporting their children’s education, whether through helping with homework, attending parent-teacher meetings, or simply showing up to school events. The school is a central hub for the community, where everyone works together to ensure the success of the students. This partnership between school and community is essential, particularly in rural areas where resources may be limited. The sense of shared responsibility creates a supportive environment that fosters both academic success and personal growth. For some of the students, this would be their first experience in formal education, and for others, it was just another step in their educational journey. But all of them, from the youngest first-grader to the oldest sixth-grader(pra sekolah), had one thing in common: a sense of hope and opportunity for the future. By the end of the day, the school was filled with the sounds of students laughing, chatting, and making new friends. Teachers were busy preparing for the next day, knowing that the journey ahead would be both challenging and rewarding. And as the students headed home, they were filled with excitement for the days to come. The first day at SK Gual To'Deh in February 2025 was a day of new beginnings, filled with hope and the promise of a brighter future. Education, in all its forms, is the key to unlocking potential, and schools like SK Gual To'Deh play a crucial role in shaping the future of Malaysia, especially in areas where resources may be scarce but the desire for learning is abundant. SK Gual To'Deh’s commitment to fostering an enriching educational environment, especially under English Panel, underscores the school’s dedication to providing a well-rounded education to its students. The various programs and events organized by the English Panel demonstrate how language learning can be both enjoyable and impactful. This is especially important for a school situated near the Malaysia-Thailand border, where exposure to different languages and cultures can enrich students’ worldviews. The enthusiasm and hard work shown by the staff and students in these programs reflect the community's commitment to overcoming challenges and seizing opportunities through education. Sir Mazeri’s efforts in making English learning a central part of the school’s culture have not only improved students’ language skills but have also instilled in them the confidence to dream bigger and reach further. Through these educational initiatives, SK Gual To'Deh is preparing its students not just for exams, but for a future filled with possibility, in Malaysia and beyond.
