The day began with a unique and heartwarming village parade. Students, teachers, and community members marched proudly from the village entrance into the school compound, carrying the Jalur Gemilang and wearing traditional attire alongside the national colors. The parade symbolized the close relationship between the school and the surrounding community, showcasing the theme of togetherness in celebrating the nation’s independence.
Upon arrival, the participants were greeted with applause and cheers, setting the tone for a joyous day. The school’s headmaster then delivered a meaningful speech, reminding everyone of the struggles and sacrifices of Malaysia’s past leaders and citizens in gaining independence. He emphasized the importance of instilling patriotism in the younger generation, ensuring that they appreciate the freedom they enjoy today and carry forward the responsibility of safeguarding the nation’s sovereignty.
