ENGLISH CENTER SK GUAL TO'DEH - Today marks the sixth rehearsal of our school drama, Batu Belah Batu Bertangkup. As the team manager, I am filled with pride and admiration for the dedication, enthusiasm, and perseverance shown by all the actors. Despite my occasional soft yet firm reminders, the students have responded with remarkable maturity and a genuine desire to improve. Their consistent effort demonstrates not only their passion for the art of drama but also their determination to bring honor to our school at higher levels of competition.
From the very beginning, each rehearsal has been more than just a practice session—it has been a journey of growth and teamwork. The actors come early, prepare their scripts, and rehearse their lines with full concentration. They correct one another with kindness, helping each other master pronunciation, expression, and emotion. What impresses me most is that none of them see this drama as a mere school task; instead, they view it as an opportunity to learn, to express creativity, and to build confidence.
Their commitment shines brightly in every detail. Some of them spend extra hours after school to refine their roles, while others volunteer to help design props, costumes, and background music. Even when faced with challenges—like forgetting lines, feeling nervous, or struggling with difficult scenes—they never give up. Instead, they encourage one another to keep improving. This strong sense of teamwork and perseverance is what makes the group truly special.
I also admire how they accept feedback positively. When I speak firmly or correct their tone and movement, they do not take it personally. Instead, they respond with humility and eagerness to learn. This openness to improvement is a sign of their growing professionalism. It reflects their understanding that constructive criticism is part of the learning process and essential for producing a high-quality performance.
Beyond the stage, this drama project has taught them valuable life lessons—discipline, time management, cooperation, and respect for one another. Each actor now understands the importance of punctuality and preparation. They have also learned how to balance schoolwork with extracurricular activities, showing that true success comes from effective planning and consistent effort.
As their manager, I am deeply inspired by their spirit. Watching their progress—from shy beginners to confident performers—has been a rewarding experience. I believe this drama will not only entertain the audience but also showcase the students’ talents and commitment. More importantly, it represents the unity, hard work, and determination that define our school community.
With their continued passion and effort, I am confident that our team will deliver a memorable performance and make our school proud at the district and perhaps even national level. Whatever the result, their dedication already makes them winners in my eyes—young individuals who have proven that with passion, discipline, and teamwork, great things can be achieved.
