TKRS Camping Experience at Kem Pusu 40

KEM PUSU 40 - A TKRS camping programme was successfully held from 10 April 2026 until 12 April 2026 at Kem Pusu 40. The programme involved participants from several schools around the district. Four pupils from SK Gual To'Deh proudly represented their school in the three-day camping activity. All of them were Year 6 pupils who showed great enthusiasm and commitment throughout the programme.

The main objective of the camping programme was to build leadership qualities, discipline, teamwork, and self-confidence among the participants. The organisers prepared various interesting and educational activities for the campers. Throughout the programme, the pupils had the opportunity to learn many new skills and gain valuable experiences outside the classroom environment.

Among the activities conducted during the camp were marching practice, jungle trekking, group competitions, first aid lessons, and team-building games. The participants also took part in motivational sessions and outdoor challenges that tested their physical and mental strength. These activities encouraged cooperation and strengthened friendship among the campers. The pupils from SK Gual To'Deh actively participated in every activity and managed to adapt well to the camp environment.

One of the most memorable experiences for the participants was sleeping inside tents. For some of them, it was their first experience staying overnight in a campsite. Although they initially felt nervous, they soon became excited and enjoyed the experience together with their friends. They learned how to organise their personal belongings, maintain cleanliness, and work together to ensure their tents were comfortable and safe.

Besides that, the camp also taught the participants the importance of discipline and responsibility. They had to follow a strict schedule and obey the instructions given by the camp facilitators. Every participant needed to wake up early, attend activities on time, and cooperate with their teammates. These experiences helped to develop positive attitudes and good character among the pupils.

In conclusion, the TKRS camping programme at Kem Pusu 40 was highly beneficial and meaningful for the participants from SK Gual To'Deh. The camp provided them with valuable knowledge, practical skills, and unforgettable memories. It is hoped that more pupils will have the opportunity to participate in such programmes in the future to enhance their confidence, leadership skills, and teamwork spirit.
