Although his tenure may be considered relatively short, the impact of his leadership has left a lasting legacy that will continue to benefit the school community for many years to come.
Throughout his service at SK Gual To'Deh, Mr. Bakri demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities, strong determination, and an unwavering commitment to school improvement. One of his most notable achievements was the enhancement of the school's water management system. Recognising the importance of a reliable and efficient water supply for both students and staff, he initiated improvements that greatly contributed to the comfort and well-being of the entire school community. This effort reflected his practical approach to problem-solving and his concern for creating a conducive learning environment.
In addition to infrastructure improvements, Mr. Bakri also focused on upgrading the school’s special rooms and facilities. Under his leadership, several key areas were refurbished and enhanced, including the English Language Room, Science Room, Teachers’ Room, and various sections of the school compound. These improvements not only created a more attractive and functional environment but also strengthened the teaching and learning process. Perhaps one of the most innovative initiatives introduced by Mr. Bakri was the establishment of TV PSS (School Resource Centre Television). More importantly, the establishment of TV PSS elevated the reputation of SK Gual To'Deh beyond the local community. This accomplishment demonstrated Mr. Bakri’s forward-thinking vision and his belief that rural schools possess the potential to excel and compete internationally when given the right opportunities and support.
